Santa Rosa EDO Wins Awards for Marketing Excellence

The Santa Rosa Economic Development Office won several Excellence in Economic Development Awards from the International Economic Development Council (IEDC). The honors were presented at an awards ceremony during the IEDC Annual Conference in Toronto, Canada.

Santa Rosa EDO won a Bronze Award for the santarosaaviation.com website which promotes the county’s benefits for the aviation industry, a Silver Award for the santarosacareerpathways.com website which showcases local career opportunities and the educational pathways to them. A Gold Excellence in Economic Development Award was also presented to Santa Rosa County for its 2017 Aviation Industry Brochure project.

“On behalf of the IEDC board of directors and Excellence in Economic Development Awards Advisory Committee, congratulations to the Santa Rosa Economic Development Office. Not only did they work to provide a necessary service to their community; but also, their participation in the awards program sheds light on their stellar projects which other communities can now use as a benchmark,” commented Michael Langley, 2017 IEDC Board Chair.

“With over 3,000 counties in the U.S, each competing to attract new businesses, we’ve made a commitment to stand out,” said Shannon Ogletree, Executive Director of Santa Rosa EDO. “Our quality marketing effort is getting Santa Rosa County noticed.”

Each of the award-winning projects was designed by Duncan McCall Advertising, a Pensacola-based marketing firm.
